Geoff McIntosh is a published Author. In April 2015 he published a 500-page hard-cover book of Memoirs in New Zealand and, later that year, he e-Published them to Amazon.com et al (707 pages on a Kindle Fire HD -  Amazon.com ) :

He was the Literary Editor / Researcher for "Articulus: Rising", a Conspiracy Theory novel authored by Peter Forde, aka Nigel Murphy, published to Amazon in December 2014:

Geoff is currently working on three of his own novels and a book of personal Aviation anecdotes (he has been a pilot for 45 years). He has also written several IT-related User Guides  and Training Manuals / Courses.

Copy-Editing

Copy-Editing is the work that an editor does to improve the formatting, style, and accuracy of text and is generally done before both typesetting and proof-reading, the latter of which is the last step in the editorial cycle.

Literary Editing

In our Literary Editing capacity we help with editing books themselves, by providing services such as the above-mentioned  Proof-Reading, Copy-Editing, and literary criticism. Sometimes we go even further by collaborating with authors, doing research and making plot suggestions, etc.

e-Book Publishing

We also have experience publishing to various forms of e-Book formats. Most recently these have been to Amazon.com, catering to the entire Kindle range (including the Kindle Fire HD) and to i-Pads and i-Phones in a dozen countries.

We are familiar with the MS-Word formatting required to create Tables of Contents, indexes,

appropriate filtered html files, compressed zip files (to cater for inline graphics) and / or highly-formatted PDFs.

Different e-Book formats involve different techniques and file types and we understand how confusing it can be to "newbies"... We're here to help!

Proof-Reading  goes a little hand-in-hand with Localisation and Tech-Writing, but we give it its own billing here just to make it STAND OUT !

We DO get a little bit picky about grammar and spelling, though even WE make misteaks !!!!

We rarely fail to find errors in even the most mainstream of popular Western novels, let alone manuals.
